Lucius Colchester, Earl of Westbrook

Out of an instinct for self-preservation (and opportunism), Lucius Colchester, Earl of Westbook, transformed himself into quite a civil gentleman. Now versed in carriage door-opening, hat-tipping and haughty chatter, he carries himself with an aristocratic authority. Daresay, it was only last year that he was caught racing down the promenade with chums, jumping the kerbstone and imperiling innocent passersby.

Across the town, it is known that Lucius’ lofty title and fair fortune were inherited upon the demise of dear Uncle Herbert, but rumor has it that certain expectations were stipulated in the last will and testament. Namely, conditions of character, behavior and betrothal. So, now reeling in his raucous ways, the Earl is redirecting his endless energy toward the matrimonial market. He can often be found at the evening cotillions and rounds of garden parties and is always surrounded by a bevy of beauties.
