These solid cotton pants are among our favorites. Faint tonal stripe lends an air of sophistication, and reflects the style of the 1850's-1870's before suits became common.
Made in the USA. 100% cotton, unlined, hemmed with 36" inseam. Straight boot-cut bottom. Machine wash or dry clean. Features button fly, three front pockets, one back pocket, adjustable back and suspender buttons. Also available in charcoal or taupe. Available in sizes 30-48. Sizes below 30 and above 48 may be available, call to check stock and pricing.
Please note that these pants sit approximately 1" higher on the body than modern pants do. Therefore, most people need to order one size up from their customary size.
As you can see in our photos, our old fashioned trousers sit higher on the body than modern pants do.
For best fit, measure your torso (in inches) just below your belly button, and select this size of trousers.
In many cases, this will be one or more size above your customary pants size.
Inseam
Our trousers come with a 36 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

I love wearing these trousers, and I like the fact that they are washable. I wear them with an Arlington blue vest and light blue cravat with the pant legs inside my tall boots for the sophisticated country genltleman look at re-enactments at our local historical society. They are very comfortable to wear.
The most comfortable pants I have ever owned.

The feel of these pants are so soft, and they are so light I sometimes forget they are on. I don't know if it is a mistake, or I am a little color blind, but the description said grey but they look brown to me. They are very nice, and easily wearable on a daily basis. If you are hovering on the idea of buying these pants, just do it. You will not regret it.
