ntbone Seattle WA	Unfortunately it would not fit in my eye. As a result, it was merely a decoration to hang around my neck. While I didn't intend to wear it often it would be nice if I could.

This decorative piece gives you all the distinction of a monocle without the eyestrain of magnification. The price is unbeatable and with a little practice you will be able to wear it as long as you like.

ThePM Near Washington D.	Itâ€™s a simple monocle. The retaining strap is cheap, but you can purchase a nice monocle chain elsewhere. I especially like the monocleâ€™s gallery frames and itâ€™s pretty durable. Overall itâ€™s a good piece for the price.

Spiritwolf Southern California	Got this for my 15 year old son and he loves it. As others have noted, it does take some practice to use. The lanyard is rather cheap looking and we will most likely replace it. Other than that, it's a winner

muffy australia	This monocle looks great but does not fit any human eye socket we have tried it on. It is far too large!!!! Must be hand held . It was disappointing in this respect

Brent Central Florida	The monocle itself has a light feel but it is the right size and has the galley frames to hold in the eye. I didn't think much of the attached cord and replaced it. Don't try to use it for the first time on a night out. It takes a little practice and you don't want to drop your monocle into your soup. I woulnd't even know which spoon one uses to retrieve a monocle from a bowl of soup.
