I'm a cap size 7 3/8 and this fits a little more snug than I'd like, with a little too much room at the top causing an empty space to point up. It's not perfect, but for the price you couldn't really expect anything better.

This helmet gives the perfect look of distressed leather without the expense of real leather. It fits my big head and is the perfect accessory for my comic routine about early 1900's inventions-- the aeroplane, motor car, etc.

I was actually in the process of making a light weight fabric version of an aviator helmet for ear wind protection while driving a T series MG. This is just what I needed. Construction is very good. It does look a little weird when first removed from packaging but soon shapes to the head. It also looks better with flying goggles!
