The finishing touch to your finest ensemble. Our formal topper is durable yet elegant. The hat rises a full 6½ inches. The brim is 2½ inches in the back and front and is curled on the side. The fine grosgrain ribbon is 2 inches wide and is tied in a small, flat bow tie on the side. 100% wool felt, USA-made. Available in sizes M - XL. Unlined.

The quality of this hat is great, the fit is perfect and the head band on the inside of the hat is comfortable.

milk Chocolate
Used this hat for a Willy wonka Birthday party. It looked wonderful! I wish I could post a photo. It came neatly packaged and arrived right away. The color is like a milk chocolate.

This hat is beautiful, and very high quality for the price. However, it is more brown than it appears in the photo-- there is no caramel/ faint orange cast as it appears.

Color Issue
The hat is not the color shown in the photo on my screen. It's much grayer. The one on the screen appears to be brown, a dark camel color. Computer monitor color rendition can vary, yes, but this is more than a few shades of difference. In the industry-standard PANTONE color registry index (available online), a search for "Pecan" yields PANTONE color Pecan Brown 17-1430 TCX and this is close to the website image color. The actual hat I received, however, is closer to PANTONE color Cocoa Brown 18-1222 TCC. Compare. Definite difference. I can live with the color I received (but really would have been nice to have closer match my camel hair overcoat), so I give the 4 Stars instead of 5.

Unforgettable gift
This hat was purchased for a nurse who works for the US Veterans Administration in western North Carolina. She has taken very good care of the people who are patients there and this was a gift of appreciation for her dedication.

I love this hat! I was Willy Wonka for Halloween and this top hat was perfect; however, I quickly realized that this hat really looks great with several of my professional outfits, and I now WEAR IT in my normal everyday life. It is a fine and wonderful hat!

This is not a theatrical prop, this is a first-quality hat suitable for everyday wear. Well, everyday wear in certain circles I suppose... Recommend taking it to your local Western emporium and having the hat steamed and sized to fit perfectly. If you do, it's quite comfortable for all day wear.

First top hat
Very great hat. I don't know how long it took to come in because the post office had a mess up and miss placed it, but I was able to track it down and it took a total of 2 and a half weeks to get it from when first ordered. So I have no credible view on the shipping speed. But every thing else is absolutely great. The hat blew me away. I knew it was high quality but this just went way past what I though it was going to be. I will be ordering from this site again.
