Victorian Cutaway Coat - Charcoal [001081]

The lighterweight choice for daywear during the mid to late 1800's. The Cutaway Coat, also known as a Morning or Swallowtail Coat, vied with the Frock for popularity. With it's curved front panel, this elegant choice is far less bulky than the Frock and excellent for all day comfort and style. This style is often seen paired with pinstriped pants. Our modern version of the popular coat is made of 100% wool and is fully lined.

Our coats are made with typical American sizing, meaning your chest measurement (in inches) is the size you should choose.

To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest.

Longs: If indicated in the selection list (e.g. 46L,) long sizes may also be available. Longs are approximately 2" longer in the back and sleeves.
